Milwaukee Public Market Wedding

Morgan and Jesse,
A Milwaukee Public Market Wedding

Month: August
Florist: Bank of Flowers
Ceremony: Grace Lutheran Church, Menomonee Falls
Reception: Milwaukee Public Market, Downtown Milwaukee

From the colors of the wedding, to the cheery flower choices, I knew Morgan and Jesse would be a fun couple to work with.  And the venue, the Milwaukee Public Market, was equally unique.  This cute couple chose a vivid Teal and bright Coral as their focal colors, with the floral bouquets and decorations ranging from whites and soft creams, to peaches and corals.  The bright gerbera daisies really show off this couple's fun-loving side, as do the bride's bright shoes and the groom's sassy socks!  The Bank of Flowers team and I really enjoyed being a part of their special day. Congratulations Morgan & Jesse!

Silver Spring, Love is in the Air!

Paul and Debbie = LOVE

Month: October
Florist: Bank of Flowers
Ceremony: St. James Church, Menomonee Falls
Reception: Silver Spring Country Club, Menomonee Falls
Photographer: Stephanie Leigh Photography

The words "Simply Charming" come to mind when I look back at Paul and Debbie's wedding.  From the soft pallet to the choice of flowers and greenery, and even the use of miniature succulent plants wrapped in burlap as their wedding favors for the guests.  Everything came together to make an enchanted day for the bride and groom.

Debbie chose roses and spray roses in soft pinks and peaches, with airy tufts of cream astilbe and succulents nestled in a loose mix of lush greenery like seeded eucalyptus and bay leaf.  This soft mix coordinated perfectly with her delicate lace dress and long, sheer veil.  Her maids held smaller versions of Debbie's bouquet, and the men were dressed to match with spray rose boutonnieres accented with the same lush greenery.

The centerpieces included a mix of vintage bottles filled with the same soft flowers used in the bouquets, were placed on birch slices, and accented with small succulent plants wrapped in burlap for each guest to take home.

It was so wonderful to be a part of Paul and Debbie's special day. Congratulations!

Bridal Fair of Washington County

Brides from all over Southeastern Wisconsin braved the cold and came out for the 16th Annual Bridal Fair of Washington County on January 29th.  The Washington County Fairgrounds hosted the event, and it was very well attended, by vendors and brides-to-be alike!  In addition to the 80+ vendors showing off their goods and services to the wedding community, there was also a fashion show featuring the latest bridal gowns, maids dresses, and tuxedos.  The show had everything that couples could possibly need for their special day, and all under one roof.

We here at Bank of Flowers were so excited to be a part of this great event again this year.  It gives us a chance to meet face-to-face with area brides, show off our floral skills, and get feedback from future brides.  Our Menomonee Falls Manager, Krista Roskopf, and Wedding Coordinator Kristin Reidelberger were both on site to talk to couples about their special day.  It was an amazing show!
