Exquisite Orchids Just Came In!!

At Bank of Memories & Flowers we carry many beautiful orchid plants.  For centuries, the orchid has been a symbol or love, luxury and beauty.  Many people make the mistake of assuming that since orchids are native to tropical rainforests, they must be watered several times a week.  Unfortunately, watering frequently will kill the roots.  In general, give orchids an equivalent of 2 ice cubes a week.  Orchids require bright light.  An eastern exposure (or western exposure protected from hot sun) is ideal.  Blasts of hot or cold air, such as from an exterior door, leaky window, or heating vent can harm orchids.  Position orchids a couple feet from a window rather than on a window sill.
