Fall Color Wedding

Congrats to Martie and Mike!!!

At Bank of Memories & Flowers we are into cozy, comfortable, and rustic things.  So..you might guess, we're partial to Autumn flowers.

This past weekend my husband and I attended our friends Mike and Martie's wedding at their home in Pewaukee. Her color scheme was all about the soulful palettes, like the deep reds, oranges and yellow-golds, and this scheme was embraced with her flowers as well. Burgundy celosia, vibrant gold sunflowers, craspedia balls, and rust calla lilies were the key items in her bouquet along with lime green hydrangeas and red and orange gerbera daisies.

Martie brought in her own mason jars for Bank of Memories & Flowers to arrange flowers for table centerpieces.  The bear grass shooting out the sides and the curly willow for height was the perfect touch to make their appearance look larger on the long tables.  They were the hit of the night!  Martie had an awesome idea to cut burlap for the table runners, and it looked great as well, and a sure compliment for the flowers!

Before the ceremony started, guests were asked to take a rock from a pile and after the ceremony they were told to make a wish for the couple and put their rock into a wire container for the bride and groom to use as a decorative piece in their home. It was such a cool idea! It was such a fun wedding, and it was the start of Fall colors to be brought out in weddings, we can't wait!
