The Week in "Re-bloom"

This week was another fun one at Bank of Memories & Flowers as we continued our "projects" around the shop and prepared the flowers for another amazing wedding, this time for Amy & John...

"Project week" continued with various tasks. Chloe really got into it (left) and Melissa began the tedious task of cleaning and re-caulking the 100+ year old stained-glass windows (upper right). Our alley fence even got a much needed re-staining which Dana did with a smile on her face (lower right)!

We had the distinct pleasure of preparing and providing the flowers for Amy & John's wedding which took place in Theinsville on Saturday. Pictured above is the bridal bouquet (left) which had a unique combination of a compact shape with a small cascade of stock and seeded eucalyptus. The bridesmaid bouquets echoed the same type of feel and had some great pops of vibrant color (right).

The flowers for the ceremony were soft and elegant and added such great detail, right down to the flowergirl's kissing ball (left) and the arrangements to hang on the doors (right).

The great colors and blend of style continued on into the reception where the tables were adorned with mason jar centerpieces. Each arrangement contained soft pink hydrangea, bright fuschia carnations, pink alstromeria and more seeded eucalyptus. The centerpiece arrangements were each bound with wire to make for easy distribution to the guests at the end of the night -- what a great idea!

As we bid farewell to one busy and exciting week, we welcome another! All of us here at Bank of Memories & Flowers can't wait to share what we're creating this week next Tuesday!
