Scenic View Wedding

Kelsey + Aaron = One True Match
Purple Passion in October

Month: October
Florist: Bank of Flowers
Photographer: She & Me Photography
Ceremony: Peace Lutheran Church
Reception: Scenic View Country Club

It was a beautiful day in October for Kelsey and Aaron's wedding day!

The flowers perfectly matched the plum color scheme that was flowing throughout the wedding. The deep purples were set off by gorgeous whites, giving a bright contrast of colors that the bride adored! And who could forget the mismatched bridesmaids dresses!

The day started off at the couple's church, Peace Lutheran, where they were surrounded by friends and family. They then moved on to the reception at Scenic View Country Club, where much dancing, laughter, and happiness was present. All of the love was captured in stunning photos done by She & Me Photography.

We were so happy to have been part of this couple's special day! Congrats to Kelsey and Aaron, and to a wedding full of purple passion!

Wedding Giveaway!

A Whimsical Day for Amy and Lindsay
What a Dream Come True!

Month: October
Photo and Video: DeGroot Film Co.
Wedding Planning: Weddings With a Twist, LLC
Flowers: Bank of Flowers
Dress Designer: Stella York
Bartending: Drink Inc

This may have happened back in October, but it's still on our minds as one of the most amazing experiences for Bank of Flowers to have been a part of!

Katie Guth of DeGroot Film Co is the one who recruited us as well as many other talented wedding professionals to give away a wedding for FREE to a couple in need. We couldn't say no! The contest was set up in May and the wedding date was chosen for October 23rd, so it was a limited timeline, but well worth it!

Many couples submitted their stories of why they should be chosen, but in the end, Amy and Lindsay were the lucky couple and they couldn't have been happier! Amy and Lindsay have two foster children as well as a child of her own. Lindsay had lost both her jobs while taking care of Amy, who had a rare brain disease and had fourteen surgeries within one year. The military tried medically discharging Amy on four different occasions, but she refused. She was able to reenlist for another six years.

The happy couple chose to use orange and purple flowers to make their special day really pop! They were both so grateful to have won this giveaway and share their love with their friends and family. Together, all vendors were able to provide a wedding valued at over $24,000! We couldn't be happier for Amy and Lindsay and wish them all the best.
