Schlitz Audubon Wedding

Sara + Matt = Meant to Be!
A Stunning September Wedding

Photography: Valo Photography
Florist: Bank of Flowers
Ceremony/Reception: Schlitz Audubon Nature Center

Who doesn't love a stunning Fall wedding? Sara and Matt's wedding is a picture perfect example!

The couple chose gorgeous flowers that screamed fall! Sara's bouquet was a handheld with long stems and some texture including sunflowers, dahlia, antique hydrangea, seeded euc, wheat, and other mixed greens in red, yellow, and green accent. The bridesmaids had similar bouquets with handles wrapped in black. The groom and groomsmen had boutonnieres of a burgundy flat mum with solidago, wheat, and greens!

Sara and Matt's wedding took place at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, with the ceremony held outside and the reception inside. This venue was perfect for jaw dropping backdrops for all the beautifully captured photos taken by Valo Photography, as well give off the early Fall vibes the couple was aiming for!

Overall, Sara and Matt's wedding was full of love, laughter, and happiness. We are so thankful to have been part of their special day!

Davien's Wedding

Emily + Joe = LOVE!
A Popping Pink Wedding

Photographer: The Art of Life
Florist: Bank of Flowers
Ceremony/Reception: Davian's

Emily and Joe's wedding can be summed up in three words: bright, bold, and beautiful!

The couple chose a stunning arrangement of roses, hydrangeas, carnations, and stock in blush, pink, medium pink, hot pink, and fuchsia. The bouquets were compact and lush and had their handles wrapped in navy satin. The bridesmaids matched perfectly with the flowers, wearing short navy dresses matched with fuchsia heels. The groom's boutonniere was spray roses in fuchsia with a blush accent as well as some greens.

Emily and Joe said their "I do's" surrounded by friends and family at Davian's, where love was flowing throughout. The ceremony moved to the gazebo of Davian's, which was full of much laughter and dancing. It was a night to remember!

We are so happy for the loving couple, and wish you may year of happiness! Congrats to Emily and Joe!

Wonderful World of Weddings 2017

After all of the holiday engagements, January marks the start of wedding planning for many. Brides-to-be are busy gathering ideas about their upcoming nuptials, and what better place to be inspired than the Wonderful World of Weddings show at State Fair Park in West Allis. Here, vendors from every corner of the wedding world gather to show off their wares and services, hoping to attract the attention of brides.
We look forward to this show every year, and always put our best foot forward.  Everyone here at Bank of Flowers had a part in the show, from the concept design for the booth, gathering of items to display, the flower designs, and even the set-up and take-down of the booth.  It's all hands on deck for events like this.
Shop owner Melissa Maas and director of operations Ceci Scheuber talked to so many wonderful ladies and their families, it was an amazing weekend!
