4th of July Photoshoot

Red, White, and OOH!
A Popping Photo Shoot

Photography: Studio 29 Photography
Planning and Design: Weddings With a Twist, LLC
Flowers: Bank of Flowers
Hair and Makeup: Dana Welch

This photo shoot may have been taken in July, but this Wisconsin weather lately has made us miss this gorgeous shoot!

Our couple put their own unique twist on the widely celebrated holiday with a beautiful color palette of burgundy and dusty blue. They chose their favorite park for a stunning natural background and brought a cozy and casual vibe to a usually chaotic day. Keeping with the simple theme, picnic tables with mason jars, greenery, and florals were present throughout. But wanting to celebrate 4th of July, the couple sprinkled in red velvet cupcakes, festive drinks, smoke bombs, and of course, fireworks, ending the night with a bang.

We were so thrilled to have been part of this jaw-dropping photo shoot - it is for sure one of our favorites!

North Hills Vintage

Amanda & Chad

Month: September
Ceremony & Reception: North Hills Country Club, Menomonee Falls, Wi
Flowers: Bank of Memories & Flowers

Amanda & Chad tied the knot at North Hills Country Club, just down the road from our shop in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.  A little lace, burlap, and some soft blossoms was all it took to transform a simple brick patio into a charming vintage setting just perfect for a wedding.

Mason jars and vintage bottles filled with hydrangeas, soft peach stock, and charming little spray roses were used to give this wedding its vintage feel.  They adorned the chairs down the isle and hung from the gazebo.

The same feel was used inside for the dinner tables, using a cluster of jars and bottles with burlap tags for the table numbers.  The floral clusters were set on vintage-looking silver serving trays, which were sprinkled with white rose petals.  All of these elements came together to create a simple, elegant feel.

Simple, soft blossoms were also used to adorn the cake, which was placed on a vintage silver cake stand, adding to the vintage decor.

Congratulations Amanda & Chad!  It was a pleasure to be your personal florist and decorator for your special day!

A Rustic Pritzlaff Wedding

Katlyn + Kevin = LOVE

Ceremony:  The Big Red Church, Calvary Presbyterian

Reception: Pritzlaff Building
Florist:  Bank of Memories & Flowers
Rentals: Canopies
Month: October

Katlyn (Kate) and Kevin where married on a gorgeous autumn day in October when the leaves were just beginning to change.  Their "I Do's" took place at the historical Big Red Church in downtown Milwaukee on Wisconsin Avenue.

Kate was stunning in her vintage inspired wedding dress adorn with lace; her bridal veil was a sweet birdcage veil covering just a part of her face.  Her lips were a bright pop of red.  Her flowers were inspired by wild flowers.  The bouquet was filled with garden fresh plum astilbe,  delphinium, seeded eucalyptus, and fragrant ivory garden roses.   For her "something borrowed" and "something blue" she used a special heirloom lady face brooch.

For cocktail hour, guess arrived at the Pritzlaff Building near the 3rd Ward.  This amazing and historical space has high ceilings, cream city brick and exposed beams.  The couple carried the rustic and vintage theme right into their reception.

Mason jars filled with wild flowers sat on top of cut slabs of tree wood.  The other centerpieces gave some height, tall branches towering over the tables.  Each branch had hanging glass votives with flickering candles and the cylinder vase was filled with white garden hydrangeas.

Thank you Kate and Kevin for letting us be part of your special day!
