Meet the Staff - CeCi

We welcome back CeCi Scheuber to our team as Director of Operations! CeCi's first job in her hometown, the Falls, was at Bank of Flowers when she was just 15.  After graduating from Carroll University in 2015, she continued to pursue her love of flowers, and found her way back here at Bank of Flowers, where she started all those years ago!  She grew up in Menomonee Falls, and is currently living down the street from the shop. CeCi enjoys keeping up her passion for music through playing piano and percussion, and loves hanging out with her two little brothers.

CeCi's favorite flower is the beautiful green hydrangea. She considers Taco Tuesday a weekly holiday and her favorite animals are elephants.  CeCi is most excited about the camaraderie and fun, exciting atmosphere here at the flower shop.  We welcome CeCi BACK to the team!

What better place to get married than the heart of it all in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Liz and Brian planned their dream wedding so their guests could experience the urban beauty of our great city at the historical Turner Hall. Turner Hall Ballroom is a two story 7,000 square foot space that was originally used by German Immigrants of Milwaukee for weekly concerts, dances and theatrical performances.   This gem of a space was fully renovated in the early 2000 after nearly being vacant for 70 years.  Congratulations Elizabeth and Brian!

Wendy contacted Bank of Memories- Pewaukee by email and attached pictures of everything she had chosen for her wedding, including the centerpieces she created herself.  She needed us to design the bouquets for her and her attendants.

The bride wore a gorgeous full length lacy wedding dress in antique white and she chose to carry white hydrangeas, mini lime green hydrangeas, lime green and lavender roses, burgundy snapdragons and white waxflower.  

Her attendants, her daughter and granddaughters, each wore a dark wine dress with lace overlay.Their bouquets were smaller versions of the brides bouquet but without the white hydrangeas.  We created a white waxflower comb for her youngest granddaughter hair.

The bride and her daughter wanted to create the gentlemens boutonnieres, so we supplied the flowers and the tools.  What a great way to share the experience with your family!

End of Summer Events

How it is September already?  Where does time go in the summer??  Oh that's right...weddings and special events!!  At Bank of Memories & Flowers, we work hard, but have a lot of fun helping our clients plan parties and events.  It is something that we love and we can definitely get carried away!

For this baby shower, the theme colors were limes and different shades of pink.  Plum dendrobium orchids, lime hydrangeas, and fuchsia roses really made these designs pop!

What an amazing way to welcome the newest member of the family!

Danielle's wedding celebration was in a beautiful white tent set up in her parents picturesque backyard.  The perfect setting for an outdoor party!

Feminine and classic, her arrangements had an abundance of crisp white hydrangeas and miniature garden roses.  They looked like they were just picked from the garden.  The white hydrangeas contrasted nicely with the long grey wooden box she rented from us.
