Weddings on a Budget
Are you getting married while on a budget? Here are some easy tips to keep your money in check.
Most wedding planners will tell you that wedding flowers should be 10 to 15 percent of your overall wedding budget (ex. for $20,000 wedding 15% would be $3,000 on flowers). This will include people flowers, flowers for the ceremony and all your flowers that you will use to decorate the reception. Think about what you feel comfortable spending per table at the reception..$15 a table, $40, $100. Take that number and times it by how many tables you will have, $25 times 20 tables will be $500 of your wedding budget. This will give you a good sense of what options we can show you at a price range you feel comfortable. We can create beautiful centerpieces from $10 a table on up. Schedule your wedding appointment today so we can get the ideas blooming!

Send flowers for graduation and let them know how proud you are. We offer loose wrapped presentation bouquets, gorgeous centerpieces, graduation balloons, and floral arrangements for same day delivery for any budget. My sister recently graduated from middle school and just loved the bouquet I gave her. Lime greens and hot pink look awesome together!! Her flowers were the hit of the night and they made her that much more excited to have graduated! Congrats to all you graduates!!!!
What are the trends here at Bank of Memories & Flowers you ask, texture!
Brides are choosing flowers that give interest with texture. Your eye stop on the interesting flowers (shown below: leaves, fiddle head and scabiosa pod). It make you want to touch the bouquet. Shades of yellows are another popular color that is finding its way into our bride's bouquets. Popular yellow flowers that are available year round are calla lilies, gerbera daises, roses, spray roses, cymbidiums, billy balls and lilies. The most popular months for us are May through November...probable because of the better weather here in Wisconsin. Happy wedding planning!
