Our Flower Designer Sue

Sue Stanczyk started her part time position with the Bank of Memories & Flowers Menomonee Falls location almost one ago.   Bank of Memories & Flowers provides the floral arrangements for the Gift Shop, Timeless Treasures at Community Memorial Hospital, where Sue volunteers on a regular basis. It was there that she met owner Melissa Maas and became interested in the floral industry. 

Sue's background is in banking, so it was quite a change in careers, but one that she is thoroughly enjoying. She is grateful to the friendly staff at Bank of Memories for welcoming her and helping her to develop her design skills. 

Both Sue and her husband, Gary, grew up in Milwaukee but have lived in 4 other states.  Their three children were each born in adifferent state.  They have been "back home" for 15 years and reside in nearby Germantown. 

They have celebrated the marriages of two of their children over the past two years and their youngest is in college.  Sue enjoys sewing, crocheting, gardening, and spending time fishing and boating on Wisconsin lakes. 

A change in seasons means a change in flowers, colors and textures and that keeps everything fresh and exciting in the floral business.  It's what Sue likes best about her new job!
