Lea & Adam - Love at Western Lakes

Month: September

Lea came to our March consultation with her homework in hand.  She was ready with her inspirations for her bouquets and boutonnieres for her September wedding at Western Lakes.  The dresses she chose for her bridesmaids were blush and the mens suits were dark blue.  The combination of the those colors mixed with white suited her bouquet to a T.

Lea's bouquet included very pale garden roses, blush roses and astilbe, white with blue anemone and blue viburnum berries.  We chose greens with a more grey tone like brunia, dusty miller, and seeded eucalyptus with touches of variegated pittosporum.  Her bridesmaids carried the same flowers with more blue, which we attained by adding delphinium.  The flower girl basket matched the bridesmaids flowers.

Adam and his gentlemen all wore grey brunia berries with seeded eucalyptus and pittosporum, a smart choice for our unseasonably warm September.  Even though Brutus, their ring bearing bulldog did not get a boutonniere, Joe, the dog whisperer did!

I recently received the most wonderful email from Lea.  She wrote:
"I just want to start off by saying thank you so much for the gorgeous flowers for our wedding. I was absolutely obsessed with them. Literally everything in the consultation we went over was depicted in our bouquets. The greenery and the dark blue bulbed flowers, just obsessed!"

All I can say is - Happy Bride, Happy Florist!!!!
