Caring for African Violets

This is such a sweet little house plant. It doesn't take much space, inexpensive and can be easy to take care of. Best of all, it can bloom all year round! Keep your African violets indoors only and by a window. They like to get a bit of direct sunlight each day. When watering, only water the soil keeping it evenly moist. Drops of water on the leaves cause disfiguring light-colored spots or rings. Place African violets only in climate-controlled areas; once you find a place for it to thrive, keep it there. African violets can die if there is extreme heat or extreme cold. We can deliver your African Violet any where or stop in Bank of Memories & Flowers to see our wide selection of colors and varieties.
