Crushing on Celosia

We use celosia as much as possible when in season (June to November) because of its fuzzy texture. Early fall is when this flower is the easiest to get in. It catches your eye and makes you want to touch it! Celosia offers large flower clusters on top of green or reddish leaves. Colors include yellow, gold, red, pink, orange, and wine. Velvety crested types are rippled, whereas others are shaped like plums or spikes. We have found that celosia can thrive for weeks after being cut. They do drink a lot of water so always make sure to recut the stems and put in fresh water.

At Bank of Memories & Flowers, celosia plays a big part in our weddings. Their unique and exotic flower will bring to your wedding an unforgetable beauty. We anticipate that celosia will show in many more centerpieces, bouquets, corsages and boutonnières. Stop in to see our wide assortment of celosia today!
